Story In A Nutshell
Prior to the Diwali celebration, Jai Bhim was made available on Amazon Prime Video on November 2, 2021, in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The narrative, acting (by Suriya, Lijomol Jose, and Manikandan), directing, and technical aspects of the film were praised by critics.
Jai Bhim goes deeply into the lives of tribal couple Senggeni and Rajakannu in a masterful combination of mystery and drama. Young people from a tribal tribe Rajakannu (Manikandan) and Sengani (Lijomol Jose) living a contented life despite their poverty. The police then mercilessly torture Rajakannu and a few other people after arresting them on suspicion that he was involved in a robbery case.
Later, the police report that the suspects broke free from their custody and that it is unknown where they are. Sengani, a hapless woman who is expecting their second kid, turns to the upright lawyer Adv. Chandru (Suriya) for assistance in solving the case of her husband and other people’s disappearance.
