Biography
Asha Kumari was born in New Delhi on September 23, 1955. Her father served as the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh for many years. She studied in Bhopal before marrying Sh. Brijendra Singh in a royal family in Himachal Pradesh on April 19, 1979.
Asha Kumari served as the general secretary of the NSUI of MLB Girls College in Bhopal and was a founding member of the organization. She was first elected to the Himachal Pradesh Assembly in 1985, and this is her fifth term as a member of the legislature. She worked for the Congress Party and the administration in various capacities. She was in charge of the Punjab Congress in the recent Punjab Assembly Elections, which the party won.
