The movie starred an ambitious and successful businessman Gaurav Gupta (played by Ajay Devgn). Gaurav believes that money is the only way to fulfill his dreams. Now he wants to build a tower in an abandoned village with the support of Amrit Patil who is a politician. The owner of the land, Srikanta Vardhan, refuses to build the tower on his land. Therefore, Gaurav plans to trap Vardhan’s son Jaidev (played by Shahid Kapoor) by hook or by crook. At first, Jaidev was supporting his father’s philosophy but Gaurav sends his girlfriend to pretend that she has fallen in love with Jaidev so that Gaurav’s plans can be carried out. Jaidev falls for their plan and supports Gaurav but soon he gets to know about Gaurav’s planning and realizes his mistake. Not Jaidev stands against Gaurav and fights for his rights. The movie got both positive and negative reviews and had so many twists and turns. The plot of the movie was amazing and was based on some realistic concepts and was loved by people. But the reason for the negative reviews was the impact of the Sarfarosh movie directed by the same director. The movie was somewhere unable to fulfill the expectations of the viewers.
